Session Outline
- Please do not eat immediately prior to the session and wear comfortable light clothing, to allow for stretching, if needed.
- We suggest a minimum 5-minute early arrival to our space, to allow for client comfort adjustments. Parking is available in driveway. Feel free come in.
- Your clean bathrobe is located in the guest bathroom, directly behind the front door.
- We honor the body with a brief grounding, breathing technique and foot treatment.
- You will receive the full duration of time, as Massage Therapy, with verbally verified variations of technique, and pressure.
- Various aromatherapy, massage tools, and techniques (All currently NC Certified & Insured to Include) may be used to enhance your session’s pain-management efficacy and relaxation experience.
- Communicate freely and breathe normally.
Relax, Rejuvenate & Restore
- Prior to the end of our session, you will be asked if concerns were addressed, to allow for final adjustments.
- Savor a chilled water or a warm tea and approach your journey with enhanced health and mobility.
- Avoid strenuous activities and Hydrate to facilitate detoxification effects of massage.
- Be prepared to schedule several massage sessions.
Massage has its greatest benefits over time. The therapeutic effects of massage are cumulative, so the more often you get a massage, the better you will feel and the more quickly your body will respond.
From one session to the next, relaxation deepens as the chronic patterns of stress in the body are affected and released. If you’re getting massage to address chronic muscular tension or recovery from a soft tissue injury, more than one session is usually needed. Thank You! - Ian
